Special thanks to the Hilton Hotel Mission Valley, Pretty Please San Diego, Nicole Miller in North County, Envious Skin in University Heights, Lulu’s by Travis Parker, and all the volunteers that helped make today possible. Support poured in from Ernst & Young, Pretty Please Fashion, San Diego State University, Torrey Pines High School and Santee High, among others. This adds to Cinderella’s Attic’s existing collection of over 500 dresses, carefully selected for quality and style.

The increased support has created a need for 15 new dress racks and increased storage space. If you are interested in making a tax deductible charitable donation to support Cinderella’s Attic, please contact kerry@cinderellasattic.org.

Together, Friends of Scott and Cinderella’s Attic helped over 100 girls find their perfect prom dress.

3) Each ticket can be exchanged for one item on the racks

Cinderella’s Attic 2011 Prom Boutique will be held in San Diego on Sunday, April 10 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Cinderella’s Attic wardrobe is full of new and lightly used formal dresses, shoes and accessories including shawls, purses and jewelry. Dresses and accessories are FREE for high school students

- Girls shop a wardrobe of formal dresses and accessories at the Prom Boutique

- Fashion experts and personal shoppers will help guests find the perfect dress

- All high school girls visiting will be entered into a drawing for gift certificates

“Prom isn’t any cheaper than when I was in school, and we’re doing what we can today to make it a bit more affordable. I hope the cost of a dress won’t prohibit anyone from garnering life-long memories at prom,” said Kerry Spark, president of Cinderella’s Attic. “Parents, tell your children. School administrators, tell your students. We have more dresses in our wardrobe than ever before, and girls will be impressed by the latest fashions and styles we have to offer.”

Each year, Friends of Scott provides kids with cancer a night to escape, where they can dress in fancy gowns and tuxedos and enjoy music and dancing at the annual “Unforgettable Prom.”  This year, Cinderella’s Attic is opening its wardrobe in advance of the event for kids with cancer to shop from our free selection of formal gowns and accessories.
